i haven’t been feeling well the whole day because of lack of sleep… i dozed off at about 2:30 am kanina… when i woke up, my head was really aching…

guess who i had been thinking about since 9pm yesterday… well, i bet u all don’t know him… i don’t understand why but i’ve been thinking about wilbert lately… so who’s he?… he was my suitor back when i was a freshman in college… that time he was a criminology student at u.m., can’t remember what year level… well, i don’t miss him… i don’t… yes, i actually don’t… but why am i still thinking about him?! i’m even sure i’m not in love with him… never… ever! ano ngayon kung baby-face(d) sya, maputi, makinis, matangkad, neat, at mapula ang lips… pero sobrang mahinhin naman… talagang-talaga! na para bang bading?! naka-cross legged pag nakaupo at palaging may clean, white hanky… syempre hindi ko sure kung talagang bading yun, kasi nga nawalan kami ng communication after ko na-basted… haay…

but u know what, at one point i thought i was gonna break my promise to my mom na i will never have a boyfriend until i finish my college education… muntikan na kasi akong napasagot nun… pero kinaya ko naman… di ako nagpadala… may mga ibang lumapit, pero di ko na pinansin…

so ano to? feeling ko ba na sinayang ko ang pagkakataon dahil ngayong tapos na ako sa college eh loveless pa rin ako? ganun ba yun? o baka sobra lang akong naiinggit sa mga romantic TV dramas and movies (my girl, secret garden, notting hill, peach girl, etc.) na napapanuod ko araw-araw kaya ako nagda-drama ng ganito? yun na nga siguro… my goodness, i don’t wanna oblige myself and look for a partner just because i look pathetic walking or eating or watching movies ALONE…

my cousin allen just ‘text-ed’ me to find a bf just so i would get inspired to work my butt off and lose weight ’cause i’m big as a couch!… and to add insult to injury, a midwife even commented that i look like an impregnated pig… okay, i’m crying now!

Last Thursday, I applied for a student permit at LTO-Davao. It was my first time to see how drivers actually apply or renew their licenses. The LTO office was maliit and mainit. Ang mga tao nagsisiksikan, nagsisingitan. Idagdag pa ‘yung nakakarinding boses ng matandang babae na nagtatawag ng pangalan using a mic na grabe kung magtalak sa mga tao. Lahat ng tao talaga mainit ang ulo dun, including me ha.

I approached the security guard to ask for an application form. Instead of giving me one, he accompanied me to the second floor where a fixer was waiting. Sabi nya sya daw mag-aasikaso ng student permit ko at magbayad na lang daw ako ng 250 pesos. So syempre natuwa naman ako kasi nga kakapagod pumila sa baba. After ko na-fill up yung form, lumapit naman tong nanay ko at sabi may tao na daw sya nakuha para mag-asikaso ng papeles ko, Rita ang name. Yes, fixer din at mas mahal ang bayad!300 pesos! Haay, as in ang daming fixers dun. ‘Kala mo mga empleyado pero ‘di pala.

So ayun, si Manang Rita sinama ako sa loob ng isang air-conditioned room at pinaupo ako sa harap ng table ng isang employee dun. Nang inabot na ng manang yung papers ko sa lalaki, may iba namang nag-abot ng mga papel at may kasamang 500, may 200, may barya… di ko na nabilang magkano lahat at ilan ang nag-abot… Nagliliparan ang pera dun, my goodness! I can’t believe it, ‘yung lalaki tanggap lang ng tanggap ng pera at nilalagay sa drawer nya habang nagpapa-cute sa akin!?! Tama ba yun?!Putang-Ina ng lalaking ‘yun, tiwali!kurakot! Lahat sila dun! Mga bad people! Go to hell!

Nung chineck ko yung exact amount ng fees na dapat kong bayaran, 128 pesos lng tapos doble ang binayad ko! E akala ko naman ang hirap kuning ng SP, ang dali lang pala. Naloko pa yata ako nung fixer. And what’s worse is that hanggang ngayon wala pa yung SP ko!

Nakwartahan na nga, na-delay pa yung papeles ko. Tama ba naman yan?! Haay, bukas na bukas din mag-aapply ako sa LTO-Davao para mabawi ko ‘yung nagantso sa akin. ‘Di naman siguro masamang kwartahan ko rin ang iba di ba?Mwahahahha. SHiyeeet!

Magiging Presidente ako at babaguhin ko ang maruming sistema ng ating gobyerno! Itaga nyo yan sa marmol!

feb. 14, 7pm, i was riding a tricycle and the driver asked me if someone gave me roses…

Last thursday was, for me, the biggest day of the year. Obviously that called for a grand celebration. I excitedly went home as early as possible so I can be with my family to enjoy some cosy and sumptuous dinner. I arrived at 8pm and we were supposed to go to a restaurant or a fmaily ktv but our ‘vintage’ car broke down. Well, not literally broke down but it wasn’t in the mood to go with our mood. So we had no choice but to find the nearest ‘kainan’ to feed our starving intestines. And then we found Colasa’s in Toril. While waiting for the bbq, we watched Pinoy Big Brother. Then we proceeded to the ‘peryahan’ nearby. Wala lang. I tried to enjoy myself while I was imagining myself riding bump-car at SM. To be fair, I liked the simple celebration though i wanted more. I’m just thankful to have my whole family and relatives with me to celebrate that wonderful day. Thank God!
